Fading and AWGN models
The wireless communication system prototyping requires practical fading and noise models working in real time clock speeds. These models can be used for testing wireless communication based algorithms both at baseband and IF signal level.
The parameterized fading models can generate Rayleigh and Rician fading scenario with various run time emulation controls such as the relative velocity, number of reflectors etc. The AWGN noise models generate the Gaussian type noise with various controllable parameters.
These models allow the designer to test 3G and 4G wireless communication algorithms running in FPGA with practical fading and noise conditions.
